About Heather

Hey there!  I’m Heather!

When I was getting married back in 2006 I actually had my own mini-bridal breakdown.

I picked a fight with my future husband, told him the wedding was off, deleted our wedding registry, and changed the locks on my apartment.

Oh yes, and did I mention I was working as a wedding planner for one the largest and most iconic banquet properties in New York at the time?

Yup.

Good news! That only lasted for two days and fortunately, we talked it out and were lovey-dovey, googly-eyed over each other once again.

The wedding was perfect. I didn’t stop smiling the whole day and I often think about the absolute biggest mistake I almost made.

But here’s what I didn’t know back then.

I didn’t know that getting married -- and more importantly, planning a wedding --  can set off a series of emotional triggers for a bride, mother of the bride and mother of the groom.

That’s a lot of triggers.

Nowadays, I help brides gain balance and peace while they’re in the thick of planning their wedding.

You’ll hear some people say that this should be the happiest time of your life.  Unfortunately, there’s a good chance you’ve had at least one meltdown, cried yourself to sleep, stayed awake at night over your bridal budget, and procrastinated with all the decisions you need to make.

There’s also a good chance you’ve had at least one disagreement with your future hubby over the wedding.

If you are struggling with conflict, stress, overwhelm, sadness or anger, grab your free Bridal Breakthrough call now.

I’ve been working with stressed out brides since 2004.  Hundreds of them!

I’ve had the privilege of working at two of the largest banquet properties on Long Island: the East Wind and the iconic Huntington Townhouse.

After my own experience as a stressed-out bride, I found that many other brides were experiencing the same common stressors.

Since I really wanted to provide substantial help to brides – more than just suggesting the best florist! -- I went back to school and got certified as a Life Coach.

Now when family and well-meaning friends invalidate your feelings by categorizing you as a bridezilla, I have the skills and experience to guide you through strategies for setting boundaries and working through conflict.

A little bit more about me… I’m married to a gorgeous Italian man.  I have a crazy Jewish mom.  I moved from Long Island to Florida, and I truly believe in the healing power of tacos!
